About Me
Hello, I am Jennifer, a British-Born Chinese (BBC) fully qualified primary school teacher with Early Years specialism. I have over 16 years’ experience with senior leadership roles in various state primary schools in England. I have worked with a range of children from age 3 to 11 and have supported children with special needs.
My passion has always been with Phonics and Early Literacy which came apparent as I spent many years teaching in Early Years; as well as leading Phonics and being the head of early years at outstanding settings. During this time I have been responsible for delivering reading and Phonics training to staff and parents in the school.
I believe learning should be fun, purposeful and tailored to each child. I want to inspire children to have a love and interest in sounds and letters so that they have the confidence to explore their imagination through reading and creative writing. I also want to empower parents to have the confidence to learn phonics alongside their child so that they can continue to support them at home.
I can also offer educational consultation and guidance for parents and families who needs advice on choosing nursery and state primary schools in UK.
